The
MISSION
of
MAN
Finding God’s Fading Embers

Why was
MAN
CREATED?
The mission of man and why we were created is one of the most perplexing questions to answer, but the Bible hints at the lessons we can learn in the human experience; then a deeper truth unfolds. The time we spend on earth is just a lesson to be learned, not a destination to be had.
When we begin to unpack the reason mankind was created, it trivializes many arguments made for and against certain interpretations of Scripture and life. A loving God can find a way to save everyone, while mankind is blinded. Some call this a Universalist position, which I suppose is fine. This is not really the profound point, however. It is the beginning.
When one realizes anyone can be saved, and indeed is in the end, the guillotine of an incorrect utterance is no longer present. Hebrews 6:1 encourages us to get past the elementary teachings, but this cannot happen until we feel safe in contemplating contradictory or nonsensical traditional and non-traditional interpretations.
The
Hidden Truth
of
GOD
The truth of God is as hidden as God Himself. We all like to think we have a personal relationship with Jesus, but the truth is we wish we did and long for our road to Emmaus story.
The purpose of this project is to uncover and unravel truths hidden deep within Scripture. Isaiah 6:9-11 tells us we will see but not perceive, hear and not understand, and will not turn our heads otherwise we will be saved. James 3:2 tells us all teachers are false teachers except the one who can wield the whole body. This means every philosopher, church father, professor, or pastor has something wrong. Maybe it is a tiny piece, but there is something wrong.
The presupposition that every theologian got something wrong means we must turn every stone. It was the theologian, after all, who interpreted the Bible and instructed the translators on which words to use.
It seems prophets were powerful in the impact of the lying pen (Jeremiah 8:8).

The
Greater
Context
How it all began
In the beginning, there was something we know little about. It was the heavenly battle, but Scripture shares precious little about it, so it seems.
It turns out, there is much more to find about this important topic than what is commonly accepted. There were angels, a dragon, 1/3 of the angels getting wiped out, but there is so much more. This journey of interpretation gives insights into more than how things began, but how those things apply to our world today.
The reason for creation illuminates additional layers of meaning, but very rarely contradicts the easy reading of Scripture. Instead, it brings to life and relevancy many of the more challenging passages. It also tends to add much deeper meaning to generally accepted concepts, doctrine, and other traditions.

The
Secrecy
in
Plain Sight
God’s plan took secrecy, deal making, an eternal promise, and faith by many. Then there is a veil so the plan can take hold and be effective. Without this circumcision or being cut off from those around, one would not be a good judge of things around them. They would be watching from afar, but that would not be effective enough. It takes being inserted into the creation of life to be a life giving spirit of truth. The Messianic Secret or Secret Covenant is the key to it all.
The best kept secret of all time remains in place because of the flaming sword of the Word of God. The promise of life, with the potential for demise. Jesus reminds us the flesh is weak but the spirit is strong. Well, one glimpse of how things work in the world around us proves Jesus’ words are true.
The secrecy and power of that is necessary that all are properly refined in the furnace of affliction. God’s glory will not be compromised by anyone questioning if we can do anything right or wrong. We are all made equally dirty, yet in plain sight. Many are naked, yet many are clothed, spiritually. The true witness is found in the end, but none of this makes sense until we dig into the meaning of life and why we are here in the first place.
