Rejected Forgiveness
I’m on a crusade to get fellow Christians to see the importance of not judging someone and taking ownership of rejected forgiveness.
Jesus said not to, or we will cast the same judgment on ourselves in Matt 7:1-2.
That judgment is cuttings someone off, casting them out, and saying they aren’t good enough. Since Jesus has not yet returned, it means someone is casting him out still. What or who is the chief cornerstone rejected by the builders?
It turns out that it doesn’t matter. So long as the church rejects anyone, Jesus will not come back. The reason is that if we say someone cannot have Christ for any reason at all, it means we cannot either. That means the only people who can have Christ are outside of the Church. That means Christ is specifically outside of the Church. Notice, Jesus cannot return because that would literally break the rules. We have to leave the Church walls to find Jesus.
He is waiting on us to wake up. That is the requisite Apostasy. Without this apostasy, Christ will never be allowed into the Church. He is in the ditch awaiting his followers’ awakening.
The only way the Church can have Christ return is if the entire Church wakes up. Until then, the only ones to find him can be those who find him outside on their own journey.
Stop judging. Stop using the excuse that you are discerning or using righteous judgment. We have all been blinded to the rules, so we cannot judge righteously. It’s simply not in our tool kit. All we can do is forgive, and we will remain in this state until we can figure out how to do that. Forgiveness is key.
Wake up to a new reality. Find Christ somewhere that he said he would be – with the sinners.
